Interview platform

We use Riverside.fm for remote interviews. It provides high-quality audio and video recording with separate tracks for host and guest. Simple browser-based interface, no downloads required.

Audio equipment

  • Apple microphones (including MacBook built-in) work well
  • External mics like Blue Yeti or Audio-Technica are great
  • Position microphone 6–8 inches from your mouth
  • Use wired headphones to prevent echo
  • Find a quiet environment with minimal background noise

Video & environment

  • Position camera at eye level (external webcam preferred)
  • Face a light source; avoid being backlit
  • Choose a clean, uncluttered background
  • Use a wired internet connection when possible
  • Find a quiet space with minimal echo

We’re looking forward to a great discussion!
